Description

The Exidor 322 is a lever operated outside access device that meets the dimensional requirements of BS8300 and approved Document “M� (DDA).

Supplied with a 5 pin euro profile cylinder which can be master key or keyed alike.

Also known as an OAD, this device is fitted to the external side of a fire escape door to allow access from the outside to the inside of the building.

Silver (SE) finish.

When locked via the euro profile cylinder, the lever is fixed dead in the horizontal position. When unlocked via the euro cylinder, the lever, spindle and mechanism engage allowing the shoots or latches of the panic bolt, or the panic latch, to be withdrawn from the outside. The lever remains engaged until it is re-locked.

Push down on the lever operates the Exidor panic hardware fitted to the inside of the door allowing the user to open the door from the outside.

The lever is fitted with a "shear screw" which is designed to break under excessive force to prevent unauthorised entry.

Certified for use on 60 minute FD60 timber fire doors and 240 minute FD240 metal fire doors. Certificates available upon request.

Non-handed design suitable for use on ISO 5 and ISO 6 handed doors (left and right handed.)

This item has only been tested for use with the EXIDOR 200 / 300 series and MUST NOT be used with any other brand of panic hardware.

Operation

Push down on the lever operates the Exidor panic hardware fitted to the inside of the door allowing the user to open the door from the outside.

The lever is fitted with a "shear screw" which is designed to break under excessive force to prevent unauthorised entry.

Usage

This Exidor 322 is suitable for external use on single or double, wooden fire exit doors.

As standard supplied with fixing and spindle to suit a 45mm thick door. - Longer fixing packs available to order.
