  • The Exidor 293/297/300 kit is an elegant and highly functional push pad panic bolt and push pad panic latch set for use on double rebated fire escape and single emergency exit door applications.

  • Double rebated door kit includes
  • - 1x Exidor 293 push pad panic bolt with top and bottom vertical shoot bolts.
  • - 1x Exidor 297 push pad panic latch set.
  • - 1x Exidor 300 Double rebated door receiver plate for the panic latch set.

  • Silver (SE) finish.

  • Tested to BS EN 179 this emergency escape device is only suitable for use where the emergency exit door is used only by trained personnel.

  • The Exidor 293/297/300 kit should only be used in low occupancy places of work (an area of less then 60 people) and areas never accessed by members of the general public or those unfamiliar with the operation instructions. (For example this item should only be fitted in office areas or factories where personnel have been trained and regularly practice a fire drill.)

  • This item is NOT suitable for use in public buildings and public areas (areas with 60 or more people).

  • Certified for use on 60 minute FD60 timber fire doors and 240 minute FD240 metal fire doors. Certificates available upon request.

  • Incorporated as standard is an automatic top trip which will hold the bolts "in" once the door has been opened and stops the bottom shoot from rubbing along the floor. Once the door is closed the top trip releases the bolts automatically back into their receiver plates to secure the door closed.

  • The main body is fitted with an anti-thrust device, which prevents leverage of both the top and bottom shoot bolts from their sockets.

  • Non-handed design suitable for use on ISO 5 and ISO 6 handed doors (left and right handed.)

  • Surface mounted fitting.

    • Operation

  • When the pad is pushed downwards on the panic latch set (located on the first opening door leaf) this door only will open.
  • When the pad is pushed downwards on the panic bolt set (located on the slave door leaf) then this will force both doors to open at once.
  • When the slave door is closed again the top trip (supplied) automatically releases the vertical bolts back into their receiver plates to secure the door closed. When the 1st opening door is closed the panic latch engages into a receiver plate mounted onto the slave door.

    • Usage

  • This Exidor 293/297/300 is suitable for use on double rebated, wooden fire exit doors.
  • Suitable for doors up to 2440mm high.
  • For taller doors longer top shoot tubes are available to special order.
